Hi,

when I try to open my quicksaved file on SC, there's an error. When the loading bar is almost full, it stops loading and I hear the typical windows-error sound. After that, I can't do anything.
Can somebody help me out?

The only two things that come to mind are Ram and video. Check 'em.

No, it's something else...
Now, there's a window poppin' up which says:

'Sound Error

Can't find STREAM.SSO from any DataDirectory'

Actually, this isn't a real problem. If I go back to my desktop and click OK in that window, I can play the game, but it's annoying to do that every time I load the game.

So, does re-installing SC solve the problem? Or is there a site where I can download this file or can somebody perhaps send it to my e-mailadress or something? I don't know how complicated this error is , so ....

I'd like to add something to this:

now there's another GPF which says something about 'updateworld' or something when I try to load the game. Now when I tried to get my dxdiag it said something about DirectX. It said there was an error the last time I used it or something ... I don't know, but here's my NEW dxdiag:
