CHARLIE SQUAD STANDARD SNIPER
When you first hit the insertion zone hit keyboard numbers 6-7 to put you squads on recon. Change to Charlie Squad and move you sniper up the incline to the right side heading to the South West. Get into the crouched position and move forward to the front edge of the hill before it starts to head down towards the bridge. The position your wanting to go is just to the right of a tree and a bush directly to your right. There will be bushes to your front right which you cannot see the first sentry box. You will be able to see the sentry box across the bridge between two trees as you look. As you look to the South West you will see the road and two barricades and that is the area you want your sniper to concentrate on so now switch to ALPHA SQUAD.
Have Jacobs eyes and move up the hill but on the left side of it and follow the map around the left side until you can see the two sentries on your side of the bridge. Click your command map and click on the bravo tab and now when you click on the command map bravo is ready to have a way point set. Jacobs and Tunny should be moving towards the road and the barricades that your sniper is covering. You will come to a small clearing as you face West and have a clear view of both the sentries so waste them and don't let any one of them cross that bridge to sound the warning.
Switch back to your sniper and take out the second sentry in the sentry box across the bridge with one shot only. Now grab Jacobs again and leave your sniper where he is as he is going to be covering you extraction point the whole game. Ok set a way point for bravo to move down to the bridge but remain in the bushes. Get ALPHA SQUAD across the bridge and move over on the right hand side and duck behind the sentry box and move into the wooded area just in front of the sentry box to the North West.
Make sure your crouching and if you look to the North West you will see a tango at the corner of a shed so waste him and quickly turn and face the West to kill the tango by the power line pole. There will also be a few tangos close to you so be careful and waste then . Also waste the two tangos that come from the building across the road on the left of the intersection to the South West.
As you look almost west there is a gas station and in the back room is a tango so leave him there as this will help you out later. Switch to Bravo and bring them across the bridge and make them go prone to the right of the sentry box and in a position to cover the cross roads and make bravo/Charlie now on advance at all cost using your command map then switch back to Jacobs. Now with Jacobs head North East up the hill staying on the right side of the road. If you look towards the north across the road and in front of a rock that is low but long there is two tangos and you must drop them fast before they get a shot off.
Ok now as you move up to the crest of the hill make sure you have Jacobs with his weapon on GL and as you come close to the crest fire a GL at the tangos right in front of you and you will have caught them by surprise. Go prone and with the second shot lob a grad at the 50 cal machine gun post and that will silence them if you're a good shot. With the remainder of GL grads take out the tangos in and around the village road then switch back to OICW rifle. If the grads didn't kill the tango in the middle of the road closest to the UN TROOPS then shoot him quick as he his the guy that kills them.
Then quickly turn and face the Due North and in the distance on the hill is a patrol of three tangos so waste them. From where you are move over the hill and go prone and face the South West and look down the road to the cross roads and take out the enemy force moving up the road form the South West. BRAVO at this stage should be assisting you and the tangos will be ducking for cover. You may need to switch between BRAVO and ALPHA to finish the job on that patrol. Your sniper should have taken out a patrol near the extraction zone so be aware you may need to switch to him to lend a hand.
If your sniper doesn't get them you may have to watch your tale and use BRAVO to do the job to look back across the bridge and finish them. Using BRAVO move them up to the gas station and take out the tango in the back room now but be careful as this guy will down you quick. You will get the completed objective window pop up for the cross roads so then have bravo turn and cover the area from the corner of the building from the North East to the South West.
Switch back to ALPHA and slowly move into the village where the UN troops are and secure the area. Pick up the un soldiers and make your way back to the extraction zone. You will get the completed objective window pop up and more than likely the mission will end and all objectives will have been completed.

This happend to me too. There are two snipers on the high ground to the south west of where the un troops are and I found that if I kill both of them the un troops will die as soon as I get near them. Kill only one of them, I took out the first one I could see, and everything worked out for me after that. The one you leave alive will still give you problems about 50% of the time but this is the way I was able to beat this one. After you secure the un troops you can take that guy out. There are sure to be other ways but it worked for me like this.

The only bit of info I may add to Snipe's is that I figure that there is a script trip in the game. I play on XBox and I can clean house up until I hit the crossroads, then it's got to be done like Snipe says, over the crest of the road to the town and take out the machine gun nest with nades or heavy machine gun. Then hit the street and take out the other enemy going at your UN buddies.
I don't think there is a timer in the game, as such, just the trip. But once that trip goes, then you're wasting precious time with the sniper. Gotta save blue-hat butt.

After picking up the UN guys, I've actaully been able to mount the 50 and turn it on the patrol coming into hunt me down, from north fo the village.
After that, you have to watch for the "reinforcements" coming from the west, down the road.
