    Hi Builders!

    Am i the only one who whishes a "lock loadout" function for self designed mutliplayergames?

    Why?
    How often did you start in a coop with guns only?
    How often did you ask the host for fuel/bombsettings?

    If you want that lock-loadout function too, please reply to this post. Maybe game designers will read that here and think about it.

    Bumping a good suggestion.

    I'd like to have this function not only in multiplayer games, but also in single player missions and campaigns.

    Sometimes a mission only makes sense with a certain loadout; it would be too easy with others.

    The best example is a mission where you have to make it home with empty guns -- we can't really have this as anybody can choose a loadout with ammo before playing the mission.

    Yes. Good point. It might be easy to implement too.
    3rd party programs like DCG or UQMB might have difficulty incorporating the changes though, when generating missions.

    A wonderful idea. I've always wondered why you can't force loadout in co-op missions.

    It would certainly cut down on the questions like "how much fuel do I take?"
    "what's the loadout?"

    It would also keep people from taking rockets/MK108/etc when the mission builder never intended such a loadout.

    I couldn`t agree more-have thought about this option for a long time, it`s a necessity for Coops...

    Thanks to all who posting here,

    Unfortunately not many have been post here for this feature.
    A lot of people i asked personally wished this feature, but all have a bit different opinions about that.
    Maybe that`s the reason why developers didn`t implemented that already.

    Another point i found against "locked loadout" was posted in VOW-HQ forum. The players would start to whine about the fixed set and perhaps leave before the game already started.

    So i turned my opinion a bit too.
    It would be good if the mission-desiger`s choice would be set to pilot`s loadout by default. If the player changes that loadout, it`s his own choice and risk.
    so at least the "Host, what loadout?" questions would be stopped for COOP-games.
