It looks as if its going to have four actual turbines on it?! This guy is really gonna cry when he crashes this one. Great, ambitious undertaking though, it'll be cool to see if it ever flies.

There was a link up a while ago to an 8-turbine B52 flying in the UK . . . . sodding huge. Apparently the site transferred 101Gb of data yesterday, and they shut it down

Shall see if I can find a photo.

There was a series on Discovery home and leasure here in the UK last year called Supermodels II where over the coarse of about 12 programs they built and flew a C-17

omfg, these guz are friggen crazy! ANd to think that they're doing this from scratch, i mean how do they plan it all and stuff, if they're gunna do this, they might as well become real architects and engineers!

Maybe they are. Either way that's some dedication there. Personally though I'd be afraid to make a wooden jet. I'd go with aluminum, but that would of course be a LOT more work.

That's absolutely friggin' amazing! Is that a B-52D? The Buff is so beautiful, especially in its colors from "back in the day". Thanks for the pic Brit!

Edit-Oops, I guess its a B-52C...now that's REALLY a classic.

Ummm...OK...I'm getting confused now, the height of the tail is throwing me, I'm not sure what variant it is now.
