Most people complain about lock ups and crashes with Far Cry...But I cant even get the game to start! The game loads just fine, but right after the first movie the game crashes back to my desk top. I'm dying to play this game! Here are my specs...

Rambus 768MB PC800
ATi Radeon 9800 Pro
Seagate 40GB Hard drive
Soundblaster Live 5.1

change drivers.
Try 4,5..4.6..4.7 cats.

Thanks for the response...I tried several different drivers but got the same result... Since I can actualy get into the game, I have experimented with multple video settings but the game still crashes after the intro video. Funny thing is, over 70 people have viewed this message, but only one has responded...If someone else has had this problem and figured it out, I would love the help! Thanks!

Have you disabled AA and AF and vsync in display properties. Before running the game.

Hi, i dont know if you got it working but i was having the same problem (i think) and all i did was swap my RAM to a diffrent slot, try that.
