Well, I have been reading a lot of your posts here. Guys like Kung Fun, Fusion and some others have some great things to say (albeit in the way of criticism but nonetheless...) and all of this gets me to thinking: What happened?? I dont know how many of you have been playing these games since R6's inception, I know for sure Witness and Pope have but not too familiar with the rest of you. Here is my thing though, when R6 was at its height I would say right before Black Thorn came around it was amazing to play these games. Rainbow Six alone, on the zone is still great fun. Its fast, it has great, straightforward, apparently simple "netcode" simple, yet convincing visuals that get the job done and it is just plain fun. The greatest thing about Rainbow Six though is the gameplay. Period. When you play a Rainbow Six TDM game the tactical shooting experience is still there and it is just so unbelievably balanced. The possibilities ie, shot placement, ability to evade, cover and concealment, use of frag grenades, team tactics, are just endless. There are so many things that can happen on say Oil, Mint etc that could cause one to win or lose a match and it is all possible with few ( and I mean few...) to NO bugs or problems inherent to the game. That is what made those great Multiplay games and what makes them still great multiplay games. Rogue Spear is also excellent sans Mr Puma when it is possible. The redstorm guys once said "...you know what? if you want to play cheat free games, ultimately, just make friends and play with them" or something to that effect and they were right. Seriously guys, do you remember those days? I know you do.And now, it is all but gone. Ubi is the big, blundering giant that came in with its big ogre sized hands and feet and clumsy sense of how to overwhelm something into creation and this is what we have. How can Ghost Recon 2 be anything less than a disaster? This game is a sham. A carbon copy, a fake, a floosey. Its silly really. We are so dedicated that we come here and spend our free time complaining and trying to consumerize this game into functionality and playablity. Its rediculous really. I think it all started with first person weapon views. Lets see, that was right about the time that " pies Tactics" may they rest in Valahalla, basically wrote off Redstorm and UBI as tactical gaming possibilities for the future. They were right. It would be pointless for me to try and convice anyone here but those in the know that the loss of that site and their participation in the community was a huge sized deathblow that still rings in my sub-concious when I think of these games. Yep 10-David and the Wargamer. I hope you guys are off somewhere making secret mods for R6 and RS!! The things wrong with this game are legion and I honestly feel hopelessness and confusion trying to bring them to light. We had a different breed of game gentlemen. One where we had to think. One that worked. One that was deserving of the moniker: Tom Clancy's. That name meant something. I fear all that has changed. The multiplayer doesnt work, we have had four patches with increasing technical problems and this place is just screaming for change and satidfaction. KNOW THIS UBISOFT: WE WANT TO PAY YOU. WE WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME. WE WANT TO PLAY FUTURE GAMES. JUST DONT JERK US AROUND. DO IT RIGHT. and you know what right is. Athena Sowrd is going to be the swan song for this series and then we will have nothing. Something needs to change. Not as if it hasnt been said before...and please dont tell me that redstorm was imperfect too because I already know that but compared to whats going on with this game they were like...well...John Carmacks grandfather. Dont say well go and play those games because I cant. Another issue. Those games need to be patched for Windows XP and current hardware. Also, dont say well go play your other games because I could do that but they dont even compare to these games. And you guys know that. Anyhow, I just wanted to get some of that off my chest and reach out to some like minded players and have a little discussion here. *sigh* What will the future bring? We can only hope I suppose...theres still that chance.

You're too lazy, so by all means make a post that requires you to use 7 seconds of your time. Nice move, stay on topic please.
