    ...any chance you can move threads instead of closing them or does the board software not allow that? It'd be really appreciated as I'm sure more than a few of us would like to continue some of our locked conversations.

    No, the software won't allow it. We're getting upgrades soon. I'm sure your discussions were locked for good reasons.

    move or delete them ?? sure we can delete them (and we do after a certain period of time)..

    the reason why they are locked ?? either they have been posted in the wrong forum.. OR they have lead to a "breaking of the rules and reg"

    the reason they stay on ?... so that everyone can see and understand why they have been locked and so that the same problem does not re-occur..

    most of the time is not the "author's" fault.. but the replies from other members lead to the thread being locked...

    dont take it personally if your thread(s) get locked....

    we're just trying to keep everything clean and civil !!

    Yeah, the locked ones I'm refering to are because they're in the wrong forum. I didn't start them there, but they're interesting. When the boards get upgraded maybe we'll see it change, eh? Most BBSes around support thread flinging. Not to mention UBB code, does thos board have anything similar? I'm positive that you wouldn't allow HTML, but UBB style code is pretty harmless.
