After installation of IL-2: FB 1.21 patch I decided to try perfect setting (I've never ran FB on this setting before). Wow! What a difference! The game looks unbelievably beautiful and to my surprise, it runs very well on my system (Athlon AMD 2100+, 512 MB RAM, GeForce 4 Ti4200 64 MB and Windows XP). But here is the bad thing - there is very noticeable terrain shimmering on river shores, especially on winter maps (as shown on attached screenshot).
Is it possible to make it less visible or get rid of it completely? Which settings should I check or uncheck in setup menu? I'm using nVIDIA Detonator drivers 45.23 (45.33 refuse to work on my system ).
Thank you in advance!

I found some artifacts depend on "Image Settings" in "Performance & Quality" tab in your driver. If it is set on 'High Performance' you'll get weird thimgs in Perfect. Try 'Performance' instead.

I found another graphic anomaly.
Whenever I fly over Crimea with perfect settings enabled, there are very odd transitions between rivers and sea. Dark blue river stream ends with straight line at the place where bright blue sea begins. (sorry for lack of screenshot). Is anyone else experiencing this?
Chris, thank you for your reply. I'll try that.

This is how it looks:
Any ideas?
