I just reinstalled WinXP.
Sys specs:
Gf2 pro
AMD XP 2500+
(Dunno what m/b)

I have no problems installing. But when I load the friggin game and its about to go fullscreen it just dies and I get a standard bill gates error message.. "Ghost Recon has encountered a problem and will be shut down. Plz die! Regards Bill"
What can I do? What do you guys think the problem is?

(I havenâ´t dowloaded the patches 1.3 and 1.4 yet and I havenâ´t got DirectX 9.0b either. I will get the servicepack 1, l8st directX and l8st patches when I get home. Will the problem go away if I do so? I doubt it cause I had the same problem before reinstalling WinXP. Never tried the GR patches though)

Help appriciated!

Please post your dxdiag[img]/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif[/img] Did the game come with a bundled graphics card? Is the game a boxed set like Gold Edition? Any error messages when you installed it?


Dxdiag

start/run/ type in dxdiag click ok/ when it has finished loading/system tab/ down the bottom click SAVE ALL INFORMATIOM to desktop/copy and paste that in the forums.

Copy/Paste

You may know how to do this already, so overlook it if you do.

To copy/paste left click the left mouse button and while holding the left mouse button down drag it to the left then up the page until every word is highlighted. Then on any part of the highlighted words right click and a little window pops up and with the left mouse button click COPY.

Now come to the forums and place your thread for your problem and in the white space, right click the mouse button and another small window pops up. With the left mouse button click the word PASTE and your dxdiag is copy/pasted
