When I bought the game I knew it was a FPS. That's what you do in this game. You kill things or things kill you.

And I was not about to think you sounded like some sort of "kweer" until you said something about it.

The pigs, frogs, parrots, and fish are nice to you!

It's everything else that you have to watch out for! Even the hallways and water in my case! I've been somehow killed by those things too...

I was expecting to have to kill 'em all, and save the world.

But I wasn't expecting the level design to be so straight forword... I guess sometimes I expect the game designers to think I need to ping-pong from the starting of the level a few times to make the game last longer.

I mean, I thing with all the great graphics and mechanics they could have made the story a little better..half-life was great and terrifying at the same time..

**NOTE: the best FPS game with a GREAT story is Deus Ex (the first one)...it's a certified classic.

When good mods come out you'll change your mind, Far Cry just isn't that great of a shooter.

Half-life was an awesome single player game long before it became a great multi-player game, thanks only to Counter-Strike. Before Counter-Strike, Quake 2 and Quake 1 held the multi-player crown. Which all hold roots in the same network code...

With time to develop a strong multiplayer engine, Far Cry carries the same potential to becoming a good Multi-player engine as any other out there. It's just a matter of talent, time, and creative thinking. It's chances are very good, especially when stacked next to Doom 3 and Half-Life 2. Both of which also carry multi-player as an afterthought. The greatest difference from those two and Far Cry is that Far Cry is out now and communities can start moding.
