Ha Ha I ask a simple question about silent pc's and everbody gets into angruments about smacking. People said I didnt give specs. Whoops I figured it was assumed i wanted somehwhat of a high end as I asked in a video game forum. I was looking at P4 3.0GHZ 1024 SDDRAM 120GIG HD ATI RADEON 9800 SB audigy 2. Thanx again and I appreciate the input

we're not arguing lunar...it's just a little friendly ribbing between forum-goers...

as for a high-end PC with low noise, you may find it difficult to find...with more speed, you get a little more heat, which leads to more cooling (more fans) which leads to more noise...

if you don't really care about costs, get a water-cooled system professionally done...relatively quiet, especially for the speed you get...other than that, your best bet is to look at the major pc companies: HP, Dell, e-machines, Sony, etc...
