Far Cry is probably one of the best games I've ever played. Even if it can be a bit hairy on my system sometimes. I love all the new gaming technology.
Take for example the realism and ragdoll physucs combined. I was on this big boat, and needed to exit it on a small life boat. Then I accidently fell off into the ocean, and thought "this is hopeless, now what." Then a lightbulb turned on in my head: I could put the ragdoll physics to use. Aiming once at one chain holding the lifeboat up, then shot. Bam! the chain was snapped and the boat swinging around so wonderfully. Then I shot the other chain, and it fell right to the ocean. Sweet, and I've used this method not just for the boat, but to block enemy paths. This game is so fun.

I especially like when the monsters are jumping all over the labs. Lights swinging all over, stuff crashing to the ground, it awesome.

And like most other games, sicking the monsters on other enemies has never been so much fun. I was surprised how easy it was for some monsters to kill the human AI.

Yep, you quickly learn not to necessarily kill off all your adversaries right away; instead, let them beat the hell out of each other for as long as it lasts

Where did these guys and gals(?) come from? I'm playing a third time in a row, each time taking it up a level in difficulty, and I'm still finding myself tense with suspense. My absolute favorite are the outdoors at night, especially driving a boat in the moonlight; this is something I've done a lot when fishing, and it's just like the real thing!!! This game is a BLAST!

Smaker, you're probably no bass fisherman. I'm a tournament bass fishermen who has fished both nite and day (as all serious BF's do) and I wouldn't have time to play FC. Hell, I don't have time to eat a sandwich! When playing FC let the Force sweep you up and take you with the flow, just like mwmfar81 is describing - it's beautiful!
