I'm not sure about pushing a button...I do know that you have to place your hand in the machine and the Ki is placed on your hand.
In the Prime portion of the game, the Ki does not seem to be operational...at least not at this stage of development...who knows what the future may hold.

yeah u can get it in offline--u can see it on your wrist--but it won't do anything until ur online...

It seems the only function the KI has in Prime is to open a few doors after you power up.

What doors? Since I got my KI right away I don't know what doors wouldn't open if I didn't have it
