I just bought myst becuase i remember it as a classic game i used to play so many years ago and am waiting for it to come in the mail.

I hope my:

Athlon 2800
512mb DDR
Radeon 9600XT
windows xp

isnt too much for it.

is there anyone else out there that can confirm that it will run?

The message states WinXP.

Mana,

If you are attempting to play the original Myst, your version of QuickTime is incompatible with that. You would have to remove QuickTime and install the version on the CD. If you want to play Myst Masterpiece Edition, that will work with QuickTime v 4.x and up.
