Far Cry is considered a "next gen" game therefore it needs "next gen" requirements. I`m sorry bud but it does certainly sound like your machine just isnt up to the task.

Hope an upgrade comes your way soon mate, so you can fully appreciate the game.

i dont think Crytek relese an game, and not even an demo that have that much bugs for the majority of the players, therefor its your computer that maybe havent the right drivers or components for the game not the demo. if it looks horrible maybe your grapich card dont have directx 8 or 9 that is needed for the cool reflections or you maybe even forgot to set the detail level or resulution. but i can admit that the demo/demos contain some bugs, more or less serios.

Hehe. Five minutes to load? Heck, before when I only had 512MB of RAM it was faster than that. Sounds like you're one of these n00bs who thinks they can play next-gen games with 256MB of RAM...Windows XP uses that much on its own ph3wl!
Mind you that said, the 2nd demo my bros 512MB machine loaded as fast as my 1GB...

From what you say you obviously are lacking ram and probably have an older computer. You've no doubt seen screenshots of the game, and quite a few of them look great so your comment about the graphics is completely unjustified. Maybe the game doesn't look pretty on your computer, but for the people who have newer hardware it looks wonderful.

You're basing your opinion on having played it on an old computer, that's not exactly intelligent.
