Thanks very much for that link Sigma. You just made a sad old Tornado enthusiast very happy! If only we could have those graphics and that flight model added to DI's sim...

Yes, well... never gonna happen :-)

The landing really looks excellent doesn't it... looks like a real plane doing a real landing... which is what I want from my simulated flying experiences. For me landing is very important. It's literally the climax to the mission... I want to feel 3 real wheels touch real tarmac, and the undercarriage to bounce when I land heavily. Without a landing I can *really* believe in I feel it's like sex without the orgasm :-)

I'm crossing my fingers that Lo-Mac has improved Flanker1/2's simplistic landings, but if it hasn't I'll just bale out over the mess and keep my disbelief suspended by parachute cords ;-) Besides, I've just ordered FS2004. As soon as that arrives I'll buy the Tornado add-on and I'll be able to get my touchdown fix that way.

Thank you for the link. Very nice sequence, the Tornado looks great and the camera angles are superb. Shame about the MS background though. The take-off was a bit suspect, but the landing was very well modelled, like the thrust reversers kicking open. Lago offer truly superb software, they are to be complimented.
