Greetings. In case any of the development team stops in and reads this, I have two questions/comments, and I am wondering if either can be addressed via downloadable content.

First. In my opinion, this game ranks up there with one of the best multiplayer games that have been developed. But, there are two issues that keep it from the upper reaches of Best All Time Games. The red radar dots. When you pull the L-trigger, and call up the map, and you can see your enemies show up as red dots as they move across the screen.... this is an option that needs to be toggle-able. You made a No-Sensor game mode this time around(thank God), but why, oh why, must we see the bad guys glowing on the screen? For the players that play solo, or last man standing, maybe this is a way of keeping the games from being marathons...but for us Seige, No Respawn players...it would make the game so much better to shut them off.
Now, that said, if the game mode you are playing allows Sensors, and you choose to carry them, then only the guys with the Sensors should be able to see the enemy show up on the map screen. Then, the Sensor guys would have to call out directions and enemy positions to those teammates not carrying them. This makes the most sense. Why allow a guy to carry the OICW, with matching grenade launcher, to see the positions of the enemy on his screen, and carpet bomb the entire area? If these two issues could be at least made an option for the game, and assuming they could be, is it something that could potentially be addressed via the DLC? I could live with the sensor thing, because we just play with them off anyway, but if you could do something to disable the red radar blips...this game would be even more fantastic. Thanks for the anticipated response, Stealyerface.

Not the Threat Indicator....we turned that off the first week. I am talking about the red radar circles on the map screen. When you are checking the map, and the other team is moving around, even if your teammates have NO sensors equipped, you can see the positions, the direction they are heading, and where they lay down.... For a seige game, this is just terrible. The new camo outfits in GRIT are fantastic, and actually match the terrain perfectly. So if you are in a crouch, moving slowly, and trying to gain a tactical advantage or a shooting lane, you should not be penalized by having your position compromised by a guy checking his map, and being able to see you. We play Seige, No Respawn, No Sensors... So it is imparative to talk with teammates, plan out an attack, and move sensibly around the map looking for cover. Somehow, there should be a way to turn off these red circles....SYF
