Thread: multiplayer crash | Forums

everytime i join a game in multiplayer, it shows the small ghost recon loading screen and then crashes back to the lobby. ive been able to play for a long time now, so it makes no sense. i got a new video card last week, but i dont see how that would affect it, its a GeForce FX 5200. i switched my screen resolution down to 16 depth, and that didnt work. i figured i might not have up to date patches, because i reinstalled it. but thats not the case either. in fact, my patches seem to be confusing myself. when i try to install 1.3 it tells me i already have a newer version, but when i install 1.4 it tells me i need to install 1.3 first. ?????

Suggest you follow the uninstall guide from the FAQ on top of this site, to do a full uninstall of the game.

Then download the driver remover program that you find http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/

First reinstall the graphics drivers, then reinstall the game.

If you have problems when you set screen resolution >60Hz, you can download "Multires"
    http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/multires.shtm
    to solve that.
