Thread: Getting to the cogwheel floor | Forums

  1. #1
In the Gahreesen Age, when I am in the rotating wall, I try to get into the cogwheel floor and I can't. I have tried jumping, walking, running, running and jumping. Once I get in, my avatar turns black, turns around and walks back towards the rotating wall and melts into it. What can I do? Thanks

Possible answer: If you are playing in 1st person mode, press F1 to change to 3rd person to exit the rotating thingy. I don't know if everyone playing in 1st person has the problem of being squished in the cogs, but I know it happened quite often.

I do know that I did it in 3rd person, well hubby did actually because every time I tried I fell through back to Relto

It's not in the slightest bit easy and is all down to timing but once you do get there you will wonder why you found it so difficult, when you see what's next

This umbrella has been through so much, but I still love it!

Cordelia, you fell through while in 3rd person? That's so strange. I've never fallen through in 3rd person. In fact, I've never had any trouble at all with getting either into or out of that crack in the rotating thingy. I just run at the wall the whole time. When an opening appears, I automatically run through it. I don't have to time anything, and I've never fallen. Very odd.

Yea, well for someone who can't jump over the balcony - no surprises there

Actually, when I think about it, jumping into the rotating thingy was easy, it was jumping out again that caused me the problems I kept timing it wrong and jumping into the wrong place - very odd but nevertheless I drifted off to Relto

Just a thought, mystlover - are you trying to get back in once the cogwheel is up and running?

No, I keep trying to get to the cogwheel floor to turn it on. I'll try it in the 1st person. Wish me luck.
