I made a hug overhead map of the Assault level Mango River to plan my attacks. I decided to share it since it took so long to make. Stitched together from 306 screenshots. It's 4586x4275 pixels and 2.37 MB big. Scale is 1 inch (or 824 pixels) to 100 game units (meters). I'll make maps for the other levels too. Enjoy! Let me know if you like these or find them useful.

All Assault maps have been finished. Download them here: http://gladstone.uoregon.edu/~mmorgan5/fc/bigmaps/. Map scale is 7:1 pixels per meter. North is up. The mangoriver map has been remade so, download it again if you already downloaded it. I found a better and "mostly" automatic way to stitch the screenshots together in Photoshop. It just takes a while for it to do.

OK. With Meta's suggestion I made some elevation maps for the assault levels. I got these from the terrain displacement maps and altered the gradient scale to resemble a normal elevation map. Dark green: lowest; green: low; yellow: midrange; red: high; dark red: highest. Scale is in percent, not meters. So the highest point in each map is dark red. It doesn't mean a specific height. These are 1:1 with the displacement maps so I don't gain any detail by making them bigger. That's why they're small. Scale them up in Photoshop and overlay them on top of the groundmaps.
