    WILD WEST TRAIN ROBBERY ... multiplayer ...

    Im going to try and make a map where a train goes round and round the outside of an island.

    Team one spawns on horses (attackers)
    Team Two spawns on train. (defenders)

    The attackers have to get on the train and make their way too the front, to grab the gold or stop the train from the engine room.

    The defenders can shoot and defend from inside, roof or walkways.

    I will need to somehow code it so the spawn points can be mounted onto the train and horses which move around the map.

    I would be pleasantly surprised if animal type(skin/bones)vehicles can be done. I think if you go western, your best bet is to leave off the horses. Trains probably can be done, but those are rigid objects like a humvee or buggy.

    Well use vehicles instead of the horses then.
    Maybe add a post apocalyptic theme to it(map with desert/sandy textures),a new car model or two and you'd have yerself a kick *** mad max mod.

    Mmm, trains! Speaking of trains, how about...

    A train is moving over one of Far Cry's ungodly large maps.

    The defenders spawn on the train, and their objectives are to guard the train cargo for X minutes. The train has various machine-guns and rocket launchers mounted on the side, to repel the attackers.
    When X minutes is up, the train reaches its destination, the defenders have to guard the train for a few more minutes to offload the cargo, and they win.

    The attackers will spawn somwhere nearby (not too close) with a full complement of vehicles. Their objectives are to capture the cargo aboard the train. There are several routes of doing this, including destroying the train-couplings so the cargo car of the train cannot make it to its destination without being toe'd by a defender's vehicle, or destroying the train's engine, or etc, etc, etc.

    To make things spicy the cargo could be a nuclear warhead - if its not at its destination within so many minutes it explodes and kills everyone.

    I like the idea of having to guard a train as it moves around an island. Anyone think they could do a SP version though?
