Need Help with PC VERSION! | Forums

I just got home with the PC VERSION and it installs normal and everything....but when I load up the game its at the screen where it gives me the choice of either Single player or Multiplayer but no matter which one i click on it starts to load then it says "Please insert the correct CD-ROM" and the correct CD-ROM is already in the the drive...I've called UBI soft about it and they weren't very helpful...I am also not a computer idiot lol I have way above the normal PC specs and my game ran the demo fine...I've tried uninstalling and reinstaling the game and that didn't fix the problem...has anyone else had this problem...and if so did you fix it...HELP ME OUT I WANNA PLAY ONLINE!!!!

Good. Another post with the same problem. We need this fixed immediately!!

It can't find the CD from either one of my drives. (See my post)

Ah yes, same problem here. Get the same 'insert correct cd' when attempting to access single and multiplayer modes. pls help- thx!

I have the solution !

You just need to disable any virtual drive (no need to uninstall your *burning software and/or Pandora Tomorrow)

(*like Alchohol or Clone CD/DVD)

I've just done it and now it works well online or not.
After doing it...just sit and ENJOY that incredible game!

Make sure its the #3 CD and not the #1 CD. I did this my first time and discover the #3 CD is the play CD. Good Luck.
