AVi video is encoded to a fixed resolution.
only way to alter it is either at the codec level or re-encoding.

Lot of UBI games menu screens are fixed resolution to...havn't even noticed if FC menu is. It would then go into the right resolution when the 3d drivers etc etc kick in

the bink file in the background is encoded at 640x480... uping the resolution increases the dpi sure but say your running at 1280x960 but every block of 4 pixels would all be the one coulor at once. so you would not notice any diference at all at diferent resolution settings in the background bik (unless you whent below the res of 640x480... and i dont think you can) the alternative? re recodrd that demo with your favorite software. fraps ect. at the res you want use rad tools to turn it into a bink file rename it so that it overwrights the old demoloop file and bang there ya go
