I must of killed about 20 sand men with dagger. And yet more and more appear. I have tried to kill his poxy father. By jumping over him. and he just won't die.

Maybe you've already gone way past this point, but for others just getting started, I beat the guys by blocking, jumping, and slashing from behind, taking two or three at a time, then putting away my sword (never mind Farah's protestations) and running for the water fountain at the other end of the room. You'll have to dodge a few guards and will have to drink quickly. Don't try to replenish your life all the way; 3/4 is enough. Then jump out of the way with back flips or side dodges (push X and left stick). Make sure you watch Farah's life like the others said, and watch out for her arrows too! But after a while you'll get rid of the guards and the father/monster will be easy to kill by flipping over him and slashing him from behind again and again.
