If the demo won't run on your machine, please post what graphics card and motherboard you have. This is a positive step we can take to help them find what is wrong.
From what I read here, it is a problem on both Nvidia and ATI cards. Give all your specs if you want.

I have a A7V8X Asus MB, GF3, Nvidia 52.13 drivers.

I think there is a problem with Sound card too. So add your Sound card please.

Here's my first config (not working) :
AMD Ath 1400
512 MO DDR
Motherboard : msiK7T pro2 A
GC : Leadtek Geforce 4 Ti4200 with AGP 8x
SC : Sound Blaster Live 1024

Second configuration (my brother's, working)
AMD Athl 2200+
256 Mo DDR
motheboard : nforce2 based
GC : integrated GF4 MX 440
SC : nforce2 sound chipset.

This evening, I will try to remove my SBLIVE and active my VIA AC'97.
I'm nearly sure THIS is where the problem is.

I use the onboard sound, but I use Realtek drivers for it. I had a SBlive but dumped it for the onboard sound. It still crashes.

This demo does not work on my computer.(the updated version).
I have the latest version of DirectX and the latest drivers for my graphic card.
I do match the minimum system requirements and I have tryd all possible settings.
There are many people with this problem.

Will there be a patch or updated demo?

This seems to be a fun game that deserves a working demo!

I am with a problem: the demon does not want to execute in my computer. The instalattion occurs normally, however, when I go executes it it simply does not execute.

My system:
Microsof Windos XP Professional Version 2002

Computer:
AMD Athlon(tm)
897 MHz
256 MB RAM

The old demo used to crash to the desktop all the time untill I restarted my computer then it ran fine so give that a try if any of you haven't before.

Win2K + latest drivers for all hardware and DX9.0B

I really don't see why we're bothering, they obviously don't care, it's been days since the demo came out and not a word.

But I'll give it a bump anyway:
