Daylight as opposed to night time maps | Forums

I cannot seem to find a map that is in the daytime. I play on line a lot and find it all to be night time settings. I can't see that well with out night goggles and wind up getting shot a lot!
Are there any day games, left?

most maps are set in daytime.

I play quite a bit and I am finding the screens dark in a night time setting. Have you tried Raven shield on UBI.com latetly? You will see what I mean

One thing you may want to do for night maps is turn up your gamma. Ubi kinda dropped the ball with gamma in this game because you can turn it up to the point where you do not need nightvision - which nearly everyone does. You're at quite a disadvantage if you're using NV gear and they aren't.

To adjust your gamma, use the entry in User.ini (Save\Profiles), or enter "Gamma X.Y" in your console, without quotes, where X and Y are numeric values 0-9

try this


open up the console in game(~)

then type

gamma 1.5

presonally i have it on 1.7

i think

but try with 1.5 first

it will brighten up ure screen so ull be able to see much better

I use gamma 1.2 when playing at night time, during the day when I have sunlight on my screen I use gamma 1.5 max.

As for the maps, can you give us some details of which night maps you are playing? All offical nnight maps do have a day map also eg. airport and airport2
