My question is, where is this holographic projection located? I looked everywhere..Thought it was the basement but don't see the buttons to turn it on? Please help me here

This would be better in the Myst forum, this is the Riven forum.
However, the holograph is in the basement. Have you fiddled with the panel near the doorway?

Ok......The basement is near the docks, I went downstairs. I saw a paper tacked to the wall...Don't see any buttons to turn on, except for the mysterious pot. I tried to press the button on this mysterious pot and all I see is buttons?? I can't find the hint for that place...Heeeelllp! I'm goin' crazy:

Yes -- it's dark in this chamber, so examine everything closely.

I had a problem with this puzzle in the first version of Myst becasue I had my screen too dark.

Couldn't see... everything I was supposed to be able to see...

Don't know if this is the problem or not.
