Why not take away crosshairs? Are admins allowed to ban the use of all crosshairs to make aiming much harder? This is supposed to be a realistic game and in real life there are no crosshairs.

Since the guns are at the right side of the screen, it would be bloody hard to aim without crosshairs. Very stupid idea.

Actually those are decent suggestions, but for them to be valid you'd have to have ways to use the iron sights.. an actually popular concept, even the subject of a RS mod a little ways back.. now probably defunct since Ubi still has yet to release the SDK they said they'd release months ago.
Check out the mods Navy Seals: Covert Operations and True Combat for Quake 3. Both have implimented crosshair free aiming systems using combinations of different aim states like aiming down the iron sights, shooting from the hip, and running flat out and being unable to fire at all.

Line up the gun's tip with the target. Just like what you'd do in real life
Yeah, maybe in paintball you can aim like that, but I doubt you'd last long if you tried it with an assault rifle against someone using the iron sights.

i'll seconded that njcl playing vietcong without the crosshairs is hard but just by using the iron sights especially on "waterfall/stream" mp vietcong and win would make you feel like dirty harry

i like the idea of iron sights and im surprised UBI didnt include them in this game. After all nearly all the games these days use them.
