Okay, so everyone knows that PT is largely Jungle based...now i am in no way a MGS fan....never even played the game...but has anyone noticed that Snake Eater also takes place largely in a jungle? Kinda strange eh?

well, pt is not "largely based" in the jungle.although it will have some in it. snake eater is primarily based in the jungle so it will have a small portion inside buildings. so they will still both be different. plus, look at how different mgs 2 and sc were. both of them are using similar engines from the last versions and they both look totally different

How does everyone know it is Largely Jungle based? Just curious, how do we know that what little we have been shown is the entire game, not just a single level?

Just because you saw a screen with a jungle with it, does'nt mean there is a hole lot of levels that are jungle based.

Hideo Kojima has stated that only 2/3 of MGS3 will take place in jungles. So that's 66% out of 100% will take place in the jungle. It isn't that much when you think about it.
