Have you ever heard about Kx drivers for creative Audio products??
well if yes and you know all about them...you can close this post, but for those who don t know them well i suggest you to try them!
They re always upgraded and every time they include new functions! they re easy to install very reliableand light! you can have effects and work on your personal sounds...but the best of these driver is how they work with games i ve just tried forgotten battles...and finally i seem to be in a cinema cause i set up in a higher level the rear speakers..and i feel the enemy clearly attack me from behind! its amazing..
PS: all volumes are indipendent : Rear Front Sub Center..too nice!!! so youll have your perfect set up
with creative drivers for SB live the center speaker is only available with movie mode reducing sound quality for music and
well they re old and heavy! Bye!!

I have heard of them but never really tried them, until now.
Great drivers if you ask me.
* Great sound
* Easy installation
* A LOT less time consuming then installing the Audigy2 drivers
* Options are to the point so your not guessing "What does this do?"
2 thumbs up.
Thx for posting it here.

I'll give em a try if I ever install my audigy card again. Still debating whether the Nforce Soundstorm audio is better than audigy. I'm thinking not after two weeks with the new board.

I cannot comment on that bit since I installed these drivers right after I installed the ATI Hotfix drivers.
I got better sound now and I didn't noticed a drop in performance.
No real framerate increase but it runs smoother.
It could be the new ATI drivers, the Kx Sound drivers or a combination of both.

The Nforce 2 Soundstorm has a greater acceleration for games than the Audigy cards.
There was a benchmark test made a little while ago, testing all the major sound sistem, revealing wich ones delievered a better and smoother gameplay.
Give me a few seconds while i try to find that article.....
Allright, i found it, here you go, read the entire article and see the real world results:

I have both Audigy Player and nForce2 MCP2-T Soundstorm in my system. IMHO the Audigy is better, but not by much. nForce is pretty close.
