I've got a big love affair with the buggies in this game, i've driven them up staircases and roadkilled any unfortunate soul that gets in my way. I've been trying to find out if anyone has been able to drive that buggy immediately before making the attempt to get up to the Volcano facility.

I've tried driving through and at one point almost made it across the log onto the other side. Has anyone been able to take the buggy all the way?

Yeah I have been able to drive the buggy all the way through. It took me many tries, but I managed to find the right jumps allowing me to get over all of the obstacles. It just takes trial and error.

If you stay on the 'greener' path that hangs a sharp right just beyond the first rocket trigen you can jump the first lava river, then continue bearing right up the big hill and you can jump the second lava river. The second jump has to be hit pretty much just right (if I recall there is a big boulder you must be just to the right of) and you will sail over the river landing pretty hard. If you make it there is a save point there as soon as you land.
