Newbcop was first released on the day that Punkbuster was announced........although full credit must go to Neo and the rest of the guys at TAT Clan for making the effort to stamp out cheats.

Having installed and run Newbcop on my system, I have to report that Newbcop was fairly buggy and reported things like "Player X is using retlock" when they were not.......it also had to be both server and client side (meaning that only players with it installed on their pc could join servers with it running)........however, because of the news on Punkbuster I think Neo did no further work on it past version 3.(to sort out the few bugs there were) As a result very very few servers have adopted it with most just waiting out for PB
