I cant get TrackIR to work like the readme file say.
Enhance mode seem to no longer work and only working in mouse emulation mode.

Seems the centering problem is fixed though

Is anybody else having this problem???

No problems anymore with my favourite toy, it works really great now.
I use Track-IR inside the cockpit and mouse in the external views.

TracK IR working really well for me. I use my FB profile when I start TRack IR. I turn off mouse in game and thats all, working really well in Enhanced/Absolute mode

Could one of you post your naturalpoint settings? I am having major problems with the tracker being hypersensitive and oscillating between positions, and this is really ruining the experience for me :-( I posted a bug thread on it, http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=t...0321#107100321 , please comment if you have a fix or experience the same problem

Thanks guys i've fixed the problem it seems like i was a windows 2000 permission thing but it is strange that it only showed it self after the patch where as TrackIr did work (although with centering bug) in both modes before the patch. Strange!!

@ Ozihcs,

Are you using latest drivers?
If using TrackIR 1 then try driver 12.12beta2 from their site. Set Dot Tracking Filters (hight and width) to Max, set smoothness to full

that should smooth out the the jittery tracking

Also i got allot of those reflective dot and stick them all around a small round object like a small bulb then fixed that to base that can easily held on the forehead with an elastic band around the head.
It sounds funny but what does is ensure that a dot is alway in sight of the camara no matter the angle of you head. It's allot more accurate like that.

PS
If you are not using Enhance mode then try those setting with Autopanning set it to about 25. Also in Lock-on there is an option to slow down the mouse movement. Not sure about the keypress but to toggle high spped mouse i think it is CTL + RightShift but set your speed in TrackIR appropriately or your panning will be be way too fast. I find before pressing "S" move your head to all positions until your display is panning smoothly i think there is buffer writing that needs to be done by software, when that is done TrackIr will pann more smoothly and accurately; then press "S"
