I am using the X36 USB setup.. I have programmed in saiteks profiler for a long time and for many sims. So I'm sure I'm doing it right.
My problem is also shift commands. Sometimes the dissapear. And sometimes the come back. Funily enough when they stop working on my stick they also stop working on the keyboard. I can't figure out what triggers them to become active again but its frustrating lining up for a landing and not being able to lower the gear or extend flaps.

I might have Germ111 as my name on these boards but my callsign is "GhostDog" of 617th Dambusters

    hmmmm....

I started Lomac this morning but forgot to load my X45 profile, however to my surprise some of my profile specific features still worked! (shift-trigger to cycle weapons f.i.)Not all of them worked obviously but I thought none of them should be working in the first place.
I am using the default Lomac keys. I also checked to make sure I hadn't loaded the profile by accident when I exited the game. On my machine the profile editor always loads on startup, so I'll have to try this again after closing it to see if it's Saitek or Lomac (my guess it's Saitek)

Well I'm officially a ******. This whole "shift" problem thing I'm having was my own fault after all. Seems that IL2 FB just automatically detected the pinkie shift key with any of my programmed key commands. Therefore I never really gave it a second thought when it didn't work in Lomac, assuming if it works in FB then must be an issue with Lomac.
Not so, you have to actually right click and assign the pinkie switch to act as a "shift" key in the SST various modes.
Viola, it now works. Now my only concern is that after 20 minutes setting up a custom Lomac profile, I played a bit, went back in and the whole profile was gone?? Anyway, did it again, saved a couple versions of it and hopefully that'll be that!!
