I saw ai can roll in official trailer ,and there are lines that contain "lean" function in the ai scripts. But I never see ai do that in the game. why?

I have seen the AI lean in a map I was testing. He was hiding and taking cover behind a crate while taking fire from another AI character. Reason for that I believe, was because I placed a "Hide Point" right behind that box.

You can view a list of the available anims for each character in the model preview..

    Here's lean left..

I'd imagine they'll use it under their own AI depending on circumstance and would almost certainly need a hide point set (so they know where to roll to or lean from).

The main use I've found is in the cutscene/movie making part where you can carfully script everymove right down to lip synching.

    Lean applied in a cutscene..
