    This probably isn't a very important issue but it kept me wondering, why does Rainbow use outdated guns instead of the most recent, these people aren't terrorists, but are professionals, so they should have access to pretty much every gun in the world, I can think of these few off the top of my head

    AK-47 -------> AK-103
    AK-74 -------> AK-107
    M4A1 -------> M4A2 (I know it says M4, but it's an M4A1)
    M16A2 -------> M16A3 (special forces don't use burst fire weapons)

    theres probably some others but I can't think of them right now.

    actually the burst thing has some mixed issues with special forces. Some do like Full Auto. While other love the controlled burst feature, on guns"beats the heck outa doubltapping"

    and about the M4. RvS has the flatop models but I'm not really sure what you refer to them as. maybe your right with "A2?"

    I just assume because the terroist in the single player game are very likley to walk around with stuff like AK-47s and since ubi did that work putting that in the game. Would seem like a crime not to let the player run around with one as well.

    honestly. I don't see why Bullpups are even in use in this game.

    CT units tend to avoid them since the cassings and gas are ejected near the face and eyes.

    well then for thoes who want 3-round burst weapons then it would be M16A2 -----> M16A4

    as for 2 round burst (namely that on the AN-94 Abakan) it's very accurate and can create a "hole" in the target, and the 2 shots are fired very fast (1800 RPM if I remeber)

    there basically the same except the M16A4 is a removable flat top.
    Like in GR those were actually M16A4s

    Actually, the M4A1 also has a removable carry handle.

    Why use an AK103 as opposed to an AK47? They are basically the same weapon.

    M4A2's are the same as a M4A1 except with a RIS/RAS kit installed.

    The M16A3 thing makes not sense at all, because you can also get full auto M16A2's. The only difference between an A2 and A3 is the A3 has a removable carry handle.

    As for bullpups, the gas doesnt come out near the eyes (They have closed bolts), and casings coming out there doesnt matter except for lefties.
