Game freezes my comp when i start the game | Forums

When i click the farcry icon, my system shows a black screen, then a white one, then another black one. At this last balck screen, my comp freezes, and keyboard and mouse input arent present. Theres no music or picture, just black. Its frustrating, I just updated my drivers, but i didnt uninstall the old ones first. Should I do that?

My Specs are:

P4 2.6GHz
Asus P4R800
512mb of kingston DDR400
Gigabyte Radeon 9600XT

Also, I was able to run the game before i installed my new RAM, the last stick was burned.
