i had made a movie awhile back before any patches came out for FB.(called SuperBeast).

i started work on one not long after that one, but i quit working on it because i kinda quit playing IL2 at the time.

i'm now playing more and want to finish it (though i've reformatted since then and using the newest patch). but now my tracks either aren't playing back right (like my shots are missing or not hitting like i saw when i was playing it) or they're just kinda jumpy making any video i capture from it from FRAPS look like total crap.

i guess it was pure luck that i was able to get the video capture looking ok for the first movie, but now i just cant seem to make it work.

    need suggestions.

    Gutted,
The only thing that gets recorded in a track is the input of the player(s) and AI pilots and the status of the objects. Any changes in the flight model of new versions screw up tracks from earlier versions b/c when the track is played back the game "reflies" the aircraft based on the inputs. Since there were significant flight model changes in the new version, the inputs make the aircraft fly differently. Obviously the only real solution is to install up to the version that recorded the tracks.
