With the original Ghost Recon (on Xbox) I had fun playing through the single player missions co-op with 2 other friends on Live. Does Island Thunder also support playing through the single player missions co-op over Live this way?

I need to be sure before I buy it.

yes it does. you are able to do missions with up to 12 people.
