New Ubi.com patch won'd load HELP! | Forums

Hi! I'm trying to play online and for some reason when I click on "play it on ubi.com" in the game menu, a notice pops up that a newer version of ubi.com is available - do you want to upgrade? When I click on yes, it acts like it's starting to dl, but then it doesn't. Instead it sounds like an error message and asks again if I want to download the newer version. It's trying to install via some ubi.com autoinstaller patch but it keeps failing to upgrade me. I'm running 1.22 and I can't play online because of this. arggg. any suggestions?

ok download this file, http://gamingzone.ubisoft.com/packages/GameService.exe
Go into add remove programs on your PC in control panel and uninstall UBI COM ok NOT THE GAME.... Then go to and make sure that your folder C:\Document and Setting\USERNAME\Application Data\ubi.com\Core\ is deleted..

after you have uninstalled UBI COM and removed that folder run the zip file and it will put a new copy of the Game server on your pc, then try to reconnect.It should update.

But you need to remove UBI COM by using add remove programs and that folder too before you reinstall as it will say it is detecting that another version is installed.
