Your money would be much better spent on upgrading what's inside the case.

Yeah...and there comes a time when staring at that Generic grey case gets on your nerves. So you either buy a snazy case, or MOD it. I did both. Look at my H00terComputer Pics. I modded the shiznit outta that one. I even took it to 3 H00ters here in DFW and had the waitresses sign it. Got free Lunch off the GM cause he was like DUDE!
It's hard to see all the sigs on the left side, as I have that LCD mounted to it.

As for the other case(sig comp). My next project is to remove all that electrical tape from the PSU wires and use heatshrink, TechFlex sleeving and colored molex connections...click HERE for a view(I haven't decided on what color scheme I will use). You can purchase a PSU pre-modded but half the fun is doing it yourself!

Gotta go with BuddhaBing on this one, unless your components are already top notch.

Kinda like people buying spinner hubs, new exhaust pipes, custom ground effects, etc. etc. for a 74 Chevy Vega. Actually, there probably aren't any that old on the road anymore.

    Most cases come pre-modded now.

My system is great but i will be upgrading to a geforce 6800Ultra-E in the near future, nothing else needs to be upgraded.

If anyone has any pics of their modded systems please post.

if you want the classy look get a coolermaster (the bxt one) throw your fav color cathode stick up top and the same color on the back fan, that is how i have mine, and it is smoove...i wanted to get crazy with it, but the wife would only allow so much, I would call that the classy look, not to much modding, but your cpu will run cool, hell throw in a zalman cooler, the one 7000 something, looks pretty wicked. my 2 cents.
