After installing the patch, I tried to launch Lock On.

"No CD" !!!!!

Is it too difficult to make a patch wich work ?
I believe that the same bug existed with the US:UK version ! So...

Je n'ai pas encore reçu mon manuel en français, donc je ne vais pas perdre mon temps à traduire mes propos.

Je veux bien accepter beaucoup de choses, mais là ça dépasse les limites de la vulgarité. J'ai acheté un soft bien assez cher, je ne peux pas l'utiliser correctement parce que je n'ai pas de manuel dans ma langue et je ne peux pas le patcher parce que mon CD n'est pas reconnu.

Qu'on ne vienne pas me dire que ça ne sert à rien d'exprimer son mécontentement.

Ca commence à bien faire.

With all due respect, I dont understand why so many ppl are having so many problems with the sim....... Am I the only one with no issues at all?? If your system is healthy, as in clean reg, no broken shortcuts, ectect. you wont have any issues, thats my humble opinion. And dont shove all the occuring malfunctions in the shoes of the ppl who have given us a brilliant sim, they deserve some respect for their work.

Mais je suis tout à fait d'accord : je ne dépenserai plus un centime pour un truc, quoique ce soit, même un addon payant (ce qui serait incroyable après toutes ces conneries) de Lock On

Mais qui a fait le différentes versions (US et UK c'est dingue !!) du jeu, qui a fait un pach mal foutu qui règle peu de choses quand on lit le read me et encore moins quand on l'installe ? Ubi ou Eagle ?

Parce que si c'est Eagle, moi qui pensais qu'ils faisaient du bon boulot, bien fini, et qu'Ubi les emmerdaient, je me suis trompé.

My system isperfectly legal, I haven't any copy soft or other illegal softs !

I've win XP, P IV 2.4 etc... LOMACV is the ONLY soft wich makes problems !

Brilliant sim ? Yes perhaps. But I can't see, now !
If we can pay somewhere to make a process for any reason to ubi, I sign up whenever you want !

What's the problem with you guys, this is not the first of "your" games that is screwed up by updating copy-protection software in game's updates.
What are you waiting for ? That no one will buy your game anymore ?

Dayglow, or someone at ED, explain this to UBI please, since they obviously don't care of costumers thought.

That's the message :

"UBI Soft, IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE COPY PROTECTION : DON'T USE IT"

I'm not against copy-protections, as long as they don't bother legitimate users.

And YES I'm now using a NO CD Patch to make my original French copy work..

UBI if this is a problem with you, let me know ... I will explain you the way of life.

I don't think the French patch is out yet - which one are you using?

The US and UK patches ARE out, but look for the US or UK CD's . . . . it doesn't recognise the French or German CD's.

The FR patch was out, but when Ubi saw that it don't work, they took it away.

So the patch FR was out during 30min.
