why oh why does the radar in FarCry show the enemies positions on it. For me this ruins the surprise and suspense of where the enemy is. i really hope this isnt in the final game, and if it is im gonna have to tape some paper over it.
what are your thoughts on it?

there will probably be an option to take it off.

Maybe/hopefully, it'll be different in the final build.

First off, enemys only appear on radar if you have seen them.
2nd, it has already been stated that in multiplayer enemies will not be on radar. Your radar will only pick up noises made by the enemy... which will prolly have to be over a ceratin dB to be picked up at all.
-
yeah and i never mentioned multiplayer, of cause they wont be on there in multiplayer, that would be ridiculous!?!?!
i hope there is an option to turn it off too.
and thanks for clearing up the fact they show there if u have seen them, but still, if i hide from an enemy, i dont wanna know where they are after that.
Jager as your an Ubi guy tell them to let us turn it off cheers

I'm just a moderator, I don't work for Ubisoft. Just like you, I'm a FC fan who's waiting for the game. The only knowledge I have of FC is what I read in previews and what you guys post in these forums.

the radar thing got me a little worried when i first saw it to. Now i dont think its that big of a deal...
im pritty sure it only shows the enimies that are close to you, like 10 meters away er sumthing like that... there is SO much distance to cover in far cry that 10 meters is hardly anything...
i am looking forward to trying it out to see what its like, it could even be a realy cool feature!!
they may make it an option to turn it of... and if not, i LOVE that idea of putting paper over it!!
SO FUNNIE!!!
HURRY UP FEBUARY!

hehe, well if thats true about the 10 metre thing, i guess your right about there being alot to cover.
only thing about putting paper over it, is that u may not be able to see where your objectives are, ah well!
