    The bottom line is:

People have to take responsibility for their behaviour.

So, ubisoft promised to the fans to release the MP Demo on Munday and they didn't. And therefore it is not about whining or lamentation, it is the right of everyone to criticize ubisofts behaviour in that matter.

Ubisoft felt sure on its ground and they made a hasty promise they obviously were not able to keep - and that's just not correct! Next time they better keep their mouth shut and release the demo when it's done.

Who are you to say that? Ubi does one heck of a job with all their games/demos. Whats more important a good running game? Or a half you know what game and a buggy demo? And BTW I don't recall seeing an official release date on ubisoft.com or splintercell.com

You just didn't get the point of my statement... or maybe I just didn't make it clear enough.

The most important thing is FUN... I want to have fun when playing a game and technically bugged games that are unable to play really piss me off. I only mention DX2:Invisible war, BF:Vietnam (unable to play with ATI),Sacred (unable to play it multiplayer).

I have no problems waiting for a good game until it's done, because a game that delivers black-screens on startup or kicks you out when trying to set up a LAN game (just examples) are not fun!! And you're right, it's better they release the demo when it is technically bug-free. Personally, the final game release to me is more important than some demo.

My point is that it was not necessary that ubisoft made big hasty promises of a MP Demo release they would not keep.

Half the world will be at the game store waiting for the UPS or Fed-Ex guy to roll in with hand-truck with a box full of PT CDs.
