    Hello all,

I was wondering how many of you use dual joystick setups in LOMAC? I'm currently running a Thrustmaster Afterburner II, coupled with a Saitek Cyborg Force 3D joystick. The stick on the ABII is burnt out after several years of use, but the throttle is still good. I got the Cyborg a few months back and have been happy with it since.

I reinstalled LOMAC recently, and much to my dismay, the controls are throwing all kinds of fits at me. LOMAC seems to be disabling my default spring setting, leaving me with a limp stick. To make matters worse, I can't clear the ABII control assignments to LOMAC - it always rebinds them back every time.

This is rather annoying, since it means every time I move the controls with the Cyborg, it conflicts with the ABII, and makes the controls go all over the place. Is there any manual control configuration to tinker with, so I don't get this problem? Or am I flat out of luck?

    Specs:

    DirectX 9.0b
    AMD Athlon XP2800 clocked @ 2.2ghz
    1024MB PC2100 RAM
    GeForce 3 Ti200 w/ 128MB of vid RAM
    ASUS A7N8X Deluxe Motherboard

I have a similar problem with my CH Fighterstick and CH Throttle.

The Fighterstick has a built in throttle that I can't find anyway to disable. And the Throttle has a built in "ministick" that can potentially control the airplane.

When I move the Fighterstick the throttle on the airplane moves to the position of the throttle on the Fighterstick. The same thing happens with the ministick and the flight controls.

I know this isn't exactly like your problem, but I am also having conflicts between 2 flight controllers.

    Maico:

You wouldn't happen to have profiles you can share would you?

I'm using X45/MSFFB2/CH Pro pedals, would be nice to see how someone with experience does it

You can use 2 joysticks with LOMAC?

I wonder if I could use my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for just the HAT/buttons on the stick to replace the few keyboard keys I use, and then the MS Precision Pro for actually flight movement. (Logitech has problems with x/y axis, which is a known issue)

Yes you can use two sticks, and one as a 'button bay' as you suggest.

I'm using and X45/MSFFB2 combo (there I go repeating myself again) without issue.

The trick is in assigning the functions as you need them, clearing the axis settings on your Logitech and setting them on your MS stick.

It will work even if you leave the axis settings on your old stick, but nudging it whilst pressing a button will cause some hazardous manouvers!

I am using the CH USB F-16 Fighterstick and USB Pro Throttle.

Since I also use a Trackir 2, I have mapped one of the stock keys in CH manager to emulate the trackir reset center view (F12)

Here is the resulting CH Control manager config file and screen caps of my config.

    http://www.neonramp.com/~dbleess/lomac/CHlomac.zip

Note the top left corner drop down box when it is open to show you which "device" it is displaying settings on.

If anyone wants it, I'll finish up drawing my updated 1.02 paper copy of the config worksheet and post the "picture" of the assignments as well.

The ONLY key assigned by ctrl manager is the F12, the rest of the keys I have assigned by LOMAC's onboard config system.

I have also remapped the F8 F9 and F12 default functions in Lomac to other keys (For instance F9 ship view is for me now Shift_f5) beacuse I need those function keys for my trackir

    any specific questions, email me
