I know its well too early to start thinking bout the next game, but it wud b nice if you cud post sum ideas which maybe UBI may consider
Here are my ideas
-A limit to quick/saving, quicksaving made the first two too easy.
-Much bigger, harder and complex levels from the start of the game
-New moves, e.g. one move cud be hinding bodies in cupboards solid snake style, or maybe more fighting moves (not a lot more but the odd kick or neck snap)
These are all i can think of at the mo, but i expect i will think of more later on

For the quicksave limit ... try going thru either of the first 2 never saving .. so if you mess up, you gotta start the mission from the beginning
It will make you be more cautious, especially nearing the end of a mission.
As for the moves you've suggested, you don't want them to make it too much like MG do you?

I love the quick-save feature - plz don't take that away from me
I guess the only reason why I won the game as quick as I did, was because of the quick-save feature...Whatever...

Here are my two cents...

A plethora of different outfits with the ability to choose before each mission

A toolset bundled with the game that gives the end-user the ability to create and mod new skins, levels, weapons, etc. That right there would up the replay value infinitely...

More players in a multi-player game, instead of the four currently allowed

The support of FSAA and Anisotropic filtering, not the "One Size Fits All" graphic settings currently allowed, but options to tweak more if not all graphics settings

Something along the lines of a Pre-Mission briefing detailing mission objectives, new and known intel, with something like an official NSA Agent Debriefing after every mission, all with the goal of making the NSA and other agencies a bigger part of the game, story, etc., to up the realism factor.
These are just a few that I can pull off the top of my head. I'm sure we ALL have suggestions worth mentioning.

when i say change the quicksave option, i mean limiting the saves to like 3 per level
And no i dont want the game to go Metal Gear style becuz thats nuthin like a real stealth game

4 people in MP is perfect.
I think SC 3 needs:-
.new ways to hide bodies
.in VERY small rooms, the move in films of clinging to the ceiling with legs and arms in corners.
.THE ABILITY TO GO PRONE!!!!!!!(lie down)
.monkey bars and move
.more levels
.more cutscenes

I prefer both Lovanion and Sgt_IC's ideas....
As for the quick save option, its fine as it is and hope will be same on SC3. They did a good job placing the Checkpoint strategically on each levels to prevent frustration of some players. If you dont want to save often its entirely up to you, thats why you have a choice YES or NO on each checkpoint (except the first level).

The one thing I'd ask for is more linearity in the missions. For a spy game you should be able to make use of all and any entrances/exits, not just one. I also like the Idea of an NSA debrief and intel etc brought up...nice idea!

why dont we wait for SC2 before we start talking about SC3?

It's not what you do with it, it's how big it is...
