Crash to DT on way in, all servers | Forums

I haven't seen quite this issue, so if it's a repeat, my apologies... I did look, but there is sooooo much. There were a few that were close, but their solves didn't apply. I feel for you guys.
Anyway, log-in, get past all the preliminaries in all shards. Get past the intros and am in the loading bars to Relto. First bar, fine, double bars, fine, until the end, when I find myself at the desktop.
Have tried several times. Went thru the general and crash helps (very helpful stickies, btw)... I've completed everything that applies. After the last big update earlier this week, I got a corrupted files message in URU Prime and just reinstalled the game. The offline version is now running fine. This is the first time I've tried to get back into live since then. Other than lag issues and the occassional access violations, I haven't had any problems in live before now. Am I missing something I needed to do after reinstalling? Live downloaded a large update file when I first logged in...
I'm running a Intel P4 1.8 GHz with Sound Blaster Live! and a 64MB nVidia GeForce 2 with a broadband connection. Again, I've had no major problems until now. Thanks.

OK, finally figured it out. Now I feel like I should've read the for dummies version... when I reinstalled, I didn't verify which kind of internet connection I was using. Forgot that would be reset, too.
