That's when you learn that you need to fly south to get a tan. But then again, the tan fades after a few months...
Then you get a new job that requires you to be outside more often.

Hello fellow forumites, just wanted to say hi. I'm getting ready to do a tile job in my kitchen and wanted to know if anyone has used a laser level and how it worked for you? It's one of those things you know might help, but you hate to spend the money on it. I'm not looking forward to doing it as I will be looking at it for a long time if I make any mistakes.

My parents asked me to help with building their new house. So, yes, I literally held a wall up while two other family members nailed it into place.

Natika, I have. For my bathroom. It worked fantastically. Even the vertical lines were easy to set as a reference. In my case I did first calibrate the laser (rotary, with motor and rechargable) very carefully so the fault was withing 1 milimeter on 15 meters distance. It had more than 10 mm at time of shipment.
But then after some time that Bathroom is ready, and then? It's been a year now and I forget sometimes that I have that thing and of course it's never recharged since.I could use it right now while working at my sister's place but left it home.
Where do you live, I'll drop it when I come by. Maybe you can tempt me to do the job even ...
