I tried download patch 2.04 but I got is two files and a folder of skins. How do I make it as self-extracting file? Please let me know. Thank you.

Did you get the server patch? or client?

My client has D and N gens, files.sfs, fb_3do08.SFS, Paint schemes, and readmes @ 19.7Mb.
