Jade immediately pulled Grizz back towards the dance floor, but he resisted! He had never learned any dance for this type of music! And that's what he kept trying to tell Jade as she tugged him on.

She just smiled at him, and whispered... "Just watch me, and try to do the same moves. You'll be fine!"

Grizz flushed violently, but watched gamely as Jade began to dance. She was good! She was very good!

Grizz tried to imitate her moves, and he felt bad for her to be seen dancing with such a stumble bum! But she didn't seem to mind, and it was sorta fun!

He laughed, and gave it everything he had!
It wasn't pretty! But he didn't really care.

mike watches as Grizz attempts to dance. With the square tiles on the floor it almost looks like he's playing DDR...badly

Dancing Queen

Worn out from the previous dance, Grizz elects to sit this one out. He asks Jade if she'd like a cup of coffee. She smiles and nods, and he takes her to one of the tables, where she sits.

He goes to the coffee bar and pours two large mugs, adding Splenda and just a dash of heavy whipping cream. He grins at Jade's slightly disapproving look, and dashes a bit more in her mug. She smiles! He carries both mugs to the table and sits, listening to the music.

There seem to be a few more folks on the dance floor now. This may turn out to be a fun evening!

After Jade finished her coffee, she sat back in her chair and smiled at Grizz. He looked at her with suspicion and said, "What? What's that look? Stop...you're scaring me." Jade just grinned and walked over to the stereo. She whispered a request into Speedy's ear and the lovely bird nodded. She touched a few buttons and a melody filled the restaurant. Jade walked over to Grizz and put her hand out to him and asked sweetly, "May I have this dance?" He took her hand gently and said, "I would love to."

The couple took several slow turns around the dance floor and Jade sighed, putting her head on Grizz's shoulder. "Hey, don't fall asleep on me." Grizz teased. Jade laughed and said, "I wouldn't dream of it. I might step on one or two of your toes though."

Some of the patrons who were wallflowers looked at the dancing couple on the floor.
"Awwwwwww...." they all sighed softly.
"How cute," said EA.
"May I have this dance as well?" asked Mike.
"Sure!" said EA, and soon, the two of them were dancing as well.
Speedy looked over at the floor at the people dancing.
"AWwwww..." she said, plotting for the next song.

Norman watched the dancing from the corner table, his foot taping to the beat. He wasn't much of a dancer to be sure, but he did enjoy watching the happiness it brought to others.

After a while, he stood and stretched and walked out onto the patio. The sun was beginning to set low on the horizon and there was just a hint of a cool breeze. EA's firedragon was frolicking (do those creatures frolick?) with Jade's and seemed completely oblivious to Norman as he took a turn around the well kept grounds. He sighed, taking in the gardens, shrubs and yard. All his hard work had paid off.

Several of the guests from the Inn, having heard the music, were leaving their rooms and making their way to the restaurant. Norman smiled and nodded to them as they passed him by. Just as he was approaching the area where Dudemeister had set the linking books to the rest of the world, he heard the familiar linking sound and watched as a figure appeared on the path before him.

"Good evening." Norman greeted him...or her, he couldn't tell in the darkness.
